A naturally occurring variety of the classic golden pothos (Epipremnum aureum), the Hawaiian pothos is known for its larger-than-life leaves painted with rich green and bold marbled streaks of yellow and cream. It originated in the lush forests of the Solomon Islands, and like the South, it knows how to grow with grace—whether it’s trailing from a hanging basket or climbing up a moss pole.

While rarely blooming indoors, this plant’s vibrant foliage is more than enough to brighten any space. In the language of plants, pothos symbolize perseverance, good fortune, and heartfelt warmth—making this a meaningful gift or a grounding presence in any room.

Care Instructions:

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but will happily tolerate low light

• Water: Allow soil to dry out between waterings; water when top 2 inches are dry

• Humidity: Tolerant of average home humidity, but loves a little extra mist in dry seasons

• Soil: Well-draining potting mix—indoor plant soil with perlite works perfectly

• Growth Habit: Fast-growing, trailing or climbing; can reach several feet with time

• Toxicity: Mildly toxic if ingested—keep out of reach of pets and little ones
