Salvia (1 Gallon)
A pollinator’s paradise and a gardener’s delight.
Salvia, also known as “sage,” has a long and lovely history stretching back through ancient gardens and herbal traditions. It’s been cherished for centuries not just for its beauty, but also for its symbolism—often associated with wisdom, healing, and heartfelt connection. At Wright’s Market, we see it as a gentle reminder to grow with purpose and to bloom with grace.
Plant Highlights:
🌸 Signifies: Wisdom, healing, and connection
🌿 Maximum Height: 18 to 36 inches tall, depending on the variety
☀️ Bloom Time: Late spring through early fall
🌍 Where It Grows Best: Full sun; thrives in USDA zones 7–10
🪴 Container-Friendly: Absolutely—perfect for small spaces, pots, and borders
Care Instructions:
Salvia is wonderfully low-maintenance. Plant in well-drained soil and give it plenty of sunlight. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish strong roots, then reduce frequency—it’s drought-tolerant once established. Deadheading spent blooms will encourage even more vibrant color throughout the season.
Complimentary Plants:
Pairs beautifully with Coreopsis, Black-Eyed Susan, and Echinacea for a sunny, butterfly-friendly bed. Add Lamb’s Ear or Russian Sage for soft texture and contrast.
This 1-gallon Salvia may be small in size, but it’s mighty in charm—just like our sweet little town. Easy to love, easy to grow, and always buzzing with life.
From our hands to your home,
